All my days I'm laying brick by brick, sometimes I look up and wonder where's my castle, will it ever reach completion, should I be faster? But I should've counted the bricks I laid, the modest but secure home I built.
I agree with this assessment overall. I wrote a post on it, but it would be better to treat life like an objective function that you are maximizing overall, not just one stat in isolation.
